August Creative Assignment - Create 2 Artistic Ministry activations that you'd do to two different songs (like you've seen me do on Friday nights during a conference) and describe how to execute them as if you were talking to a crowd of 50 people. Here is an excellent example. Video tape yourself talking about or trying to demonstrate them. Or video tape yourself actually teaching them to people (if you happen to have a small group). Upload your Youtube video to your Level 2 FB page.
From "Pillars of Leadership" book or download version by Wesley Scott Amos do a written essay about a ministry activation that relates to something in the lesson.
You may choose any 8 out of the 11 chapters in the book. Please do them in order. In other words, for example, if you'd like to study chapters 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, please do them in that order. Don't start with say, chapter 10 then do chapter 2, etc. I'm sure you get the idea. Please do them in order, but you may choose any 8 of the 11 chapters. That will be one lesson for each of the first 8 months of the school (February - September).

Why Be Licensed Essay - Sometime in September, if it looks like you will be completing the course and you desire to be a part of Dancing For Him Ministries by being licensed through the organization, please submit your essay to that affect. In your essay, please include an answer to the question, "Why do you want to be licensed through Dancing for Him Ministries?"
September Creative Assignment - Create a series of 4 letters of correspondence between you and a dance team leader (2 from you and 2 from her), who would want you to come and teach at their church. Written. It doesn't have to be on ministry letterhead, as often we communicate through email or Facebook. But I'd just like to see some practice (or actual) letters to give you the feel of how to set up a teaching or ministry engagement. Here is one EXAMPLE.

October Creative Assignment - Final Paper OR Testimony Upload - Equivalent to a final exam.
This will be a minimum of 10 pages and may be as long as you like. It may be on any topic on your heart that relates to praise and worship dance, flags, etc.
I recommend doing a little bit on it each month. Or you could, if you wanted, save most of it for October, since there are very few other assignments due that month. Think of it like a book and include:
Table of contents
Chapter titles
Dedication
Content (10 pages)
Conclusion
Bibliography
Biography
Either do the assignment as a written assignment (especially those of you who love to write and have that kind of expression). This assignment is designed to give those who have always had an idea for a book and always wanted to write, but sort of put it off, an extra 'push' to go ahead and at least get started. SUBMIT HERE
OR
Do a video upload assignment of either: Having someone interview you (like on the Called to Dance DVD) and have them ask you questions about how you got started in dance, about your passion, where you see yourself going, etc.
OR
Just talk about yourself, dance passion, or testimony, or talk about anything that is on your heart related to worship dance, flags, etc. Also talk about where you see the Lord taking you with worship dance.
If you are doing the video upload, it should be no less than 5 minutes, yet please no more than about 8 minutes.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR YOUR BOOK?
I'd like to recommend Rekesha Pittman's program through Eagle Authors. You began the work the Lord placed in your spirit, probably some time ago. Now is the time for allowing the Lord to faithfully show you how to complete it. I encourage you to read through her course information and watch for special pricing. After you complete your book, come back to DFH so I can sell it for you in the DFH online store!
Week 2

It is my strong hope that since you've grown used to checking in with the FB pages and web site, that you continue to do that and stay connected:)
Also, please keep your settings for FB to receive the Level 1 updates, as all correspondence will go through level
Once you graduate, you'll be given the Alumni FB page, where you may continue to communicate with your class mates and those who have graduated before. You'll also be notified of special level 3 activities and events.
The above October Creative assignment is really due by the end of Week 2 and it would be wise to work on it a little bit at a time throughout the school year, but I've just placed it at the beginning of October. Or you may take the first two weeks in October to do the entire thing, since there are not many assignments due during that time.
Week 3
For License
If it looks like you will be completing the course and you desire to be a part of Dancing For Him Ministries by being licensed through the organization, please email me to that affect. In the email, please include an answer to the question, "Why do you want to be licensed through Dancing for Him Ministries?" By the way, it is perfectly fine to not be licensed through DFH. Please do not feel obligated. If your church offers that. I would recommend having them be your first choice for a ministry license. You will automatically receive a license upon successful completion of the program. If you desire to not be licensed for some reason, please write to me to that affect and you will receive a dance ministry leadership certificate instead.
Final Course Evaluation
Please write, a review or evaluation of the course.
This would be short, like a product review. Write it as if you were enthusiastically writing to a friend about how much you liked the course and maybe how it helped you in your call to dance for Him or how you've grown because of your participation.
You may read some of the others' evaluations on the course information pages, to get an idea.
Please also do a YOUTUBE video upload review or evaluation of the course.
This would be short, like 1- 2 minutes. Say it as if you were enthusiastically talking to a friend about how much you liked the course and maybe how it helped you in your call to dance for Him or how you've grown because of your participation, what you liked about it, etc.
Please copy the youtube link and post this on the Level 1 Facebook page. Please make this a YouTube link, so I may share it on the main web site or make a video montage, as well. Thanks!
Make sure your Youtube page that you create is either "Public" or "Unlisted." If unlisted, it won't show up in the general Youtube population, yet we can still see it and I can also put it on the DFH site.
Week 4
From October 24th - the 31st, Renee and I will be double checking to make sure everyone turned in all their assignments. Simultaneously, I'll be creating your certificates and getting ready for the graduation conference. So, you will also have this week to prove that something was turned in if it is missing.
