Pros: Hello Beginner Dancer, yes, I am talking to you! You can look like an advance dancer after reviewing and applying all or as many techniques as you can from this Modern Dance 1 DVD. Take in the why you move the way you made, and when you move, it will make sense and stay with you. Enjoy!!

Pros: I loved how the instruction was clear and well paced with teaching and practice parts. I enjoyed the music and doing the movements to the different upbeat songs. Also, I appreciated the many different exercises. This video is worth investing in.

Pros: I found this video fun and with the different moves and can see me using even some of the warm up moves as part of my dance believe it or not, so gracefully done. The song Pastor Lynn did at the ending to learn for you and your group was so beautiful and could be incorporated in a large or size it down for a small group. Looking forward to using these techniques in my class.

I have enjoyed all the Dancing for Him DVD that I have viewed to date, but I have to say that so far this one is my favorite. The music selection was terrific, the teaching explanations were great, but what appealed to me most was this particular blend of teaching with demonstration in the video.

Pros: The DVD reviewed basic warm-up, stretches, spirals and exercises for each major body with the purpose of stretching and strengthening our dancer bodies. I really liked the focus on foot exercises – and learning some new terminology during the “peel and uch” exercise. I also benefited from a refresher on contractions – seeing how it broken down to isolate and move four main body parts: foot, rotate hip, lean back, then contract.

Even when using the alternatives, you can still feel the effect of the stretch. Using the activities of every limb of our body, it truly a must have. Absolutely amazing!.. So much to apply to strengthen our team. Our movement vocabulary has just been enlarged. From warm up activies to strength exercises and movement across the floor. Pastor Lynn has given us tools in this video that allow you to enhance teaching skills with these basic moves that will give you extended creativity. This video has so much creativity and movement skills to apply and fun and easy to learn that you will not know where to start (outside of the warm up). Pros: What a great video it has nice warm-ups that you can do with your dance group and a lot of great modern dance movements that will increase your dance vocabulary.

Pros: The approach of the presented materials is based on ballet rules with a twist of breaking some of its rules like flexing the feet in "Tendu" and "Developpe" but in an artistic and creative dance style.  I liked also the sequence and the combination of both center and diagonal workout, specially working from the corners of the room in simple moves provokes creativity if you are teaching or choreographing a dance piece.  And as for the techniques and the tips that had been used by Pastor Lynn, they were so helpful and I liked a lot watching her demonstrating them.  I believe this DVD is an essential tool for whoever is interested in knowing more about modern dance and is of a great help for those who want to learn more about such style. 

Pros: I really enjoyed this video. I felt so comfortable and at ease working through the video. That statement truly says a lot as I am an older dancer. I am so thankful that God has given Pastor Lynn such a heart of worship and dance and the He has chosen her to carry the torch and pass on the technique and art of dance to other people. If you want to learn some Modern Dance this is the video for you. It is taught in such a simple and easy to understand manner that even if you have never had any dance training you can follow this video and do Modern dance.

Pros: This video was so refreshing. There were great warm ups and exercises that can easily be incorporated into a dance presentation.

Pros: In her video Modern Dance Level 1, Pastor Lynn takes us through a series of simple exercises that do not require previous dance training. This series more or less follows a classical dance class, namely, a (no bar) barre, some bigger movements across the floor and a reverence at the end. The main differences, however, are that there are some floor exercises where we are actually lying on the floor, and a lot of contractions!!! Pastor Lynn ends the class with a reverence which in this instance is not to the teacher but to Our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ! Last but not least, I love how Pastor Lynn ends her videos with a choreographed dance. All in all, Modern Dance Level 1 is yet another great tool for worshipers who want to start building a beautiful dance vocabulary.

Broken down step by step and then shown with music and done in a group, any person with or without experience can feel confident and successful doing these movements. There is also a companion CD called Parable of the Dancer, the Pursuit of Grace by Wesley Scott Amos which has the song on it called "Wash Me" that Lynn uses when teaching a complete dance on this DVD You can learn the dance and then practice with the song "Wash Me" from the music CD at home. It is a wonderful must have set for learning and enjoyment.

Pros: I really enjoyed this Modern Dance class DVD from the first time I watched it. I have since watched it and practiced it over again and never get tired of the fun and dynamic movements, as well as good for the body stretches and feet preparations. The last part is the dance to Wash Me, a beautiful and healing song with a dance to music in three verses. Thank you Pastor Lynn for this DVD that shows us how we can learn new movements, and use modern dance steps to put together worship dances that minister and bring about healing!

Pros: I have incorporated many of the techniques and exercises in my worship times, dance team practice times, choreographed dances and even my spontaneous and prophetic dances. I have really enjoyed being able to learn everything all in the comfort of my own home, it has been a real blessing. This video is so anointed that the power of God just radiates through it! I believe its one thing to take a modern dance class in the world but its amazingly awesome to learn from a class that is running over with Gods love and compassion. then at the end is a well put together dance with lovely choreography directly from the throne room of God!!! Pros: This video gives you your money's worth! The exercises allowed me to stretch and get into each movement bit by bit. I did not have to overextend myself and I got to do it at my own pace. You will find great warmup exercises, stretches, combinations in the center, and a beautiful choreographed dance to "Wash Me" at the end ("Wash Me" is written by Will Bozeman whose music is available on Lynn's sight). Also, the exercises are segmented so that once you watch it a few times, you can skip past the explanations and go right into each exercise.
