Pros: Wow, this book is beautifully, delicately and poetically put together. I really like the way the author Pastor Wesley Scott comprised the scriptures into this unique book. As I read this book, I was seeing a reflection of who I am to Christ and who He should be to me in all totality. It was engaging.

Pros: Anything that is lovely, pure, excellent, praise worthy; think on such things. If we take that encouragement to heart, we do well to read such a book. Our God is poetic in His story writing and re-writing of His crowning creation. This reflection and expression is the perfect compact encapsulation of Our Story with God, which needs to be meditated upon regularly.

Pros: This powerfully anointed book is best taken in slowly, to meditate and even journal with. This book was an adventure to read. Often times I felt the writer was writing my life story. While reading often times I would have to stop to cry because of the glory of God's presence or listen to what He was saying to me through the book.

Pastor Wesley has a knack for understanding scripture and understanding what Christ desires for His church. His Portrait of a Bride is an absolute blessing!! Pros: This poetic Portrait of a Bride Made Ready truly captivated me and created a Portrait in my mind as I read through the pages and Pastor Will described the transformation of a bride being made ready. It so vividly paints the portrait of a bride being transformed into the likeness of her Beloved. From beginning to end I saw myself in the position of the Bride and felt like I was in the middle of a story being told about me.

Pros: This book is fulled with intimate encounters between Christ and His bride. It reveals how Christ was willing to lay down his life for his bride and that when we spend time with Him he will bestow on us a crown of beauty for our ashes

Pros: If I had to describe in one word A Bride Made Ready by Wesley Scott Amos, it would be intimacy. In fact, this poetic portrait reminded me of my very own compositions in verse that I wrote (from youth to adulthood) to my future groom; which I had the pleasure of presenting in a book to my husband as a wedding gift in May 1995. Also, as I began to peruse the pages of Mr. Amos’ work, I immediately sensed the sweet presence of the Lord through every word drawing me closer to Him - My Beloved in communion through worship, prayer, and reading. The more I read, the more I thought, “It’s as if this book was written just for me!”, “This ‘Portrait of the Bride’, she is me – I am her! And I’m My Beloved’s!”

Pros: I felt my spirit leap within me and come alive in new way as I was reminded that everything we go through on this earth is to prepare us for the One who loves us passionately! Yes, I am His beloved bride! The beautiful, poetic writings intertwined with stories from the Bible make me want to fall more in love with my Groom coming for me. Pros: Amazing. Wesley Scott Amos does it again! Can anyone describe the Bride of Christ with more intricate details, scriptural support, and poetic grace? I truly enjoyed reading this short book. It reads long an epic poem, and I truly felt God’s love flowing through every word. We, as the Church, are the Bride of Christ, and we are all on a transforming journey, individually and collectively. It is very important to be prepared when the Bridegroom comes.
