It really shows just how large movement vocabuary is if we will just break it down into categories. This is a great companion to the book which I highly recommend to have at your finger tips for a quick resouce guide to choreography ideas.

Pros: The dance composition DVD is a great DVD to watch to gain more ideas for movement for choreographed and spontaneous dance pieces. This DVD has a companion “Divine Choreography” book that goes along with the DVD. Lynn Hayden taught concepts from the book and video recorded it to make it easy to follow her explanations in the book. I found the book "Divine Choreograpy" and the DVD "Dance Composition" to be valuable tools to have to create a variety of interesting movements for my dance pieces.

Pros: I love this DVD!!!! There are so many ideas to pull from to choreograph an awesome and deeply anointed dance! I also really enjoyed watching the demonstrations, it always helps me to have a visual and this DVD was just what i needed to enhance my vocabulary of expression. The do's and don'ts segment at the end of this DVD are so fun to watch, it explains clearly the right and wrong things to do when presenting a dance. my team and I are actually going to do this segment at an upcoming dance workshop. The Dance composition DVD is full of awesome teachings!

Pros: There are so many ways to combined movements with the different variations. The combinations are endless. I love that these can be simple movements, like adding a pause or accelerating a movement. It can add so much to the dance. I enjoyed the do's and don'ts. They are humorous but are true and often happen.

Pros: This DVD takes the complexity and “science” of how to choreograph a dance or just convey movement out, to give a very easy to follow, broken down step by step sequence, together with examples of how to put those form shapes and moves together. I am amazed at all you can do in a dance and although learning dance techniques is important to continue growing and ministering in excellence, one does not have to feel intimidated by the little or lack of knowledge in technique to be able to compose a dance that is powerful, beautiful and anointed at one’s level of ability! This DVD empowers anyone who buys it, no matter one’s degree of ability! PERFECT!

Pros: The Dance Composition DVD was a useful tool to learn from. The DVD delivered on creativity and tips. It had enough movement variations, tips and instructions for me to keep coming back for ideas. I found it useful for my oldest child to learn from as well. The video showed young children participating in movement which is good for encouraging children to be focused, motivated to do well and be creative. I was very impressed with the male participant in the video. The action phrases that were demonstrated by the male participant made it so much fun to watch. I can use this video to show other men, I often hear men say that dance is too feminine

Pros: The do’s and don’ts portion was important as it brought helpful tips to avoid looking disorganized or unprofessional during a presentation. It was very good to have the enactments of the do’s and don’ts, another great aspect of the DVD. I’m so thrilled to have this DVD because it so visually and vocationally expressive and easy to understand. I also appreciated the tips on wardrobe and presentation. Many times I’ve had issues with my team as the ones discussed in the DVD I felt reassured that I wasn’t being too strict or overly demanding. This is a great video to show a team.
