Pros: I found the More Expressive Sign DVD excellent to expand the movement vocabulary, movement ideas to words found in worship songs and some new choreography ideas. This DVD is divided in three main segments: SIGN LANGUAGE WORDS: There are many sign language words, found in worship songs demonstrated. Then they are shown larger and more creatively with expressive movements or expressive sign. A must have for sure.

Pros: The expressive sign DVD delivers as promised by teaching words and demonstrating an active dance movement that symbolizes the word or phrase as to give the word an visual expression. I’ve been to DFH conferences where we’ve broken into groups and had to demonstrate a scripture or string of words with movement. Sign is such a powerful way to do this! It also gives the choreographer another platform to prime the pump of creativity as DFH shows us how to sign in groups, and using various shapes and timing to sign the words. In my opinion songs that are simple and repetitive are prime candidates for a sign language inspired dance, there is such a power in the stillness and strength of dancing with sign that the audience will be inspired.

Pros: This is one of my favorites! I have always talked with my hands, so it is not a stretch for me to communicate God's heart with them. The DVD is a terrific way to expand your vocabulary!
