Pros: I felt relieved owning this DVD because it alleviated my concerns for expressive worship. I learned many expressive sign words. I can spend hours on this DVD. The word combining demonstrations were really nice to watch. Watching the DVD prompted me to recall how much I enjoyed doing the same exercises during the DFH conference...t his DVD gives me more word knowledge in which I look forward to utilizing in the future.

This can add so much creativity and enjoyment to a dance piece. This valuable tool would be a valuable asset to any worship dancer from beginner to advance level.

Pros: Expressive sign is such a beautiful and meaningful way to add alot of creativity to your dance. It is excellent for both solos, spontaneous worship, and group pieces for all levels. What better way to depict the song than to use the actual motions for it! I highly recommend this for everyone as a foundational addition to increase your dance movement vocabulary. Pros: What a great way to embellish the language of signing as well as create a beautiful display of worship. In this DVD Lynn teaches 3 concepts for using sign language. She gives the viewer a language base. Then she embellishes the movements making them larger using what she calls expressive sign. Pros: I loooove all the Dancing for Him DVDs but this one (there is also an Expressive and Sign Video II) is by far one of my favourites. It just hold a special place in my heart. Maybe because I am an interpreter and translator and I always want to convey meaning accurately and rapidely in a communication. When I dance, sometimes I just don’t know how to wave my arms or my hands. It just seem to be “meaning-less”. I know now that it is not, because waving, for instance, is Tenufah, a perfume of fire that drives out the enemy and clears the atmosphere in the spiritual realm, thus creating deliverance. The expressive sign language thus gives more ideas on how to add expression to a worship dance. Such a great tool, so rich, a bedside table teaching DVD!

Pros: Expressive Worship & Sign Upload is absolutely amazing. There is so much extensive information to add to assist in choreography for years to come. It presents simple movements of sign and then elaborates on each with an extension of the same called an expressive movement. Pastor Lynn Hayden’s presentation on this Upload stands out to be the most informative and interesting of any I have ever seen. This is a product that one will be able to visit time and time again.

Pros: This video download opened up a whole new world of choreography options using sign language! I've been challenged in the past by how to express words like "blood" and "lamb"...now I have some creative options. Your trained dancers can do the lunges, pivots, and turns using large expressive sign, while your eager but untrained folks can be incorporated using simple hand movements. Even someone in a wheelchair could participate in a presentation piece using the ideas from this innovative resource.

It opens up a whole world of signs and expressive signs to give the worship dancer a basic movement vocabulary with which to creatively express our heart of worship. Pros: Here's an opportunity to learn sign language for the alphabet and words and expressions commonly used in worship, the style of echo combining words, group shape using a phrase of the words, and expressive sign dance. I really cherished her testimony about how she learned sign language at the age of 10. You will enjoy the echo expressions and how they were relationally paired and combined to bring greater meaning and emphasis and accentuate the expression (e.g. Father/Heaven, Peace/Bless, Majesty/Power, etc). During the later portion of the video, Lynn Hayden covers beautiful, heartfelt choreography, sign, and expressive worship to the song, “I Worship You.”

Pros: A very good thing to see in this video is that, no only we have a great variety of movement, vocabulary and resources, but they are also all beautiful and simple, anybody can do it. You don’t have to be a professional dancer to be able to worship the Lord with expressive movement and this video is a prove of that.

Pros: This video is very useful and informative for everyone, especially those who have a heart of worship but lacking some essential dancing skills. This DVD also acts as a dictionary that unifies the language of worship. Every one of the dancers can be united in the body of Christ through a common language which is the language of worship dance. The way Pastor Lynn taught this approach in the conference was so good and practical. Dividing the participants into small groups, along with combining different words together to form a strong meaningful dance, were among many ideas that can help with planning for future conferences

The compilation of basic worship vocabulary in sign language, expressive sign, and ideas for dance moves to exaggerate the movement is so helpful when I think about potential choreography to many of the songs I know already.
