Pros: I loved this book because it gives you step by step choreography techniques from beginning to end. I found the pictures and diagrams to be very helpful when reading the Divine Choreography book, they really helped me to understand what the writer is saying.

Pros: This book really hit home, especially the section on presentation protocol. It’s a relief to know that a dance team does not have to do something in the dance that will ‘awe” the congregation. I will definitely share this information with the other dance members, especially the part about keeping the introductions simple and the “unspoken rule” about singing, gum chewing, and fidgeting before and during presentation pieces.

Pros: Another awesome tool for Dance Ministry. A book of very few pages but a plethera of information for an unskilled dancer. I have never taken any structured dance lessons; God is vastly sending vessels to the Ministry who are or have had dance lessons; therefore I felt it was my service to do as 2 Timothy 2:15 said "Study to show thyself approved" in order for my passion and purpose to be solidified. This book was very helpful with vision for choreography for the ministry. The food for thought that I will carry with me was when Pastor Lynn said "the combination of divine inspirations and choreography technique can turn an ordinary dance into divine choreography; with the result not only being an emotional touch, for those whom the dance comes in contact,BUT MINISTRY! PRAISES BE TO GOD!

Pros: This book explains divine inspiration and choreography techniques, from which I understand the whole process, from where to start and how to make a dance from the entrance and introduction all the way through various techniques including design, staging, development to the ending and exit, comes from God and is for God. It enhances our movement vocabulary and knowledge and helps us make our dance presentations minister most effectively. Do's and Don'ts and the presentation protocol are very useful tips. The practical applications of the techniques learned are very useful guides.

Walking through the steps of how to create a dance piece takes the mystery and fear of actually creating one. Some of my earliest dance pieces were choreographed just for movement. There was minimal travel and variation. I also didn’t have a purpose behind my choreography. Pros: I love this book as it lists all the many different techniques for creating great choreography and how to keep it focused on heavenly inspiration and to bring Glory to God! It is all listed here – and being able to refer to the many examples and rules as a guide – our choreographies will be more balanced, interesting to the people watching the dances so that they will not get repetitious to those watching our dances. When we run out of our own ideas – this is the perfect reference to go to and discover more than we can imagine and get inspired by the ideas and rules of creating different movements and tips for interesting balance with several to many dancers, all the way from the entrance and a nice introduction to the main part of the dance, verses, movement contrasts and to the ending and many different ways of exiting the stage.

The concepts and techniques are explained well and the illustrations wonderful. There are also do's and don't tips that can be eye opening.

Pros: Divine Choreography is a rich resource on both spiritual and practical levels.  In chapter 1, the paragraph about "creation" has a powerful spiritual proclamation message that helped and encouraged me on spiritual level as well as the technical level. The idea that God has created us from dust reminded me that we as choreographers create our dance from a scratch and we should bear our Father's character in that and be creative, and to order to do so we need to be more close to His heart to reflect this essence in what we do.

Pros: The Book Divine Choreography explains in a lot more detail what Pastor Lynn talked about in her coordinating DVD which contained many great ideas, tips and techniques about choreographing a dance from beginning to end. It is an excellent resource because it shows diagrams of spacing and floor patterns which allowed me to be able to visualize things more effectively. For example, Stage Spacing may seem simple to some but it was much easier to grasp once I saw the diagram provided in the book.

Pros: This book goes into detail about variations of movement and stage positioning. It is a gift that keeps giving . I know that sounds corny but it is true. I was able to apply what I read when I went to see a performance. I applied the concepts of this book to what I observed and was able to see how they enhanced that performance.

Pros: Divine Choreography Book Essay I really appreciate the fact that in this book Pastor Lynn emphasizes and keeps coming back to the idea of Divine choreograph - that God is the source of all our inspiration for our choreography and that the purpose of our choreography is to express His heart and to minister that to other people. The chapters that really go into detail about specific choreographic techniques are packed with information! I have been able to incorporate several of these techniques into the dance that I am currently choreographing. I think it has helped to add more variation and hopefully the Lord will be able to use that to minister more effectively.
