Pros: Also mentioned in the Creative Worship book is group shapes, body sculpting, monologues and background~foreground, these are fun and wonderful activations to use to enhance sermons, presentations and dramas. Pros: If you can only buy one book, this would be my suggestion. It is filled with ideas that your worship dance team can use for praise and worship times. They are very, very easy to use for both the trained dancer or complete beginner. They are so simple to coordinate but amazingly powerful in bringing unity to release the corporate body into freedom of expressive movement. Be sure to get the companion DVD!

Pros: Creative Worship is a must resource to use to expand ministry and dancing ability. It takes what visually seems complicated and makes it simple to create and do. It truly helped me expand choreography no matter in what kind of situation (prepared or spontaneous) and still do it in excellence, keeping in mind all levels of ability, while keeping in mind the first thing: to lift our praise and worship to the Lord instead of constantly thinking when to do what and how to do it.

Because of the emphasis on bold and magnified motion in unity, Creative Worship will appeal to the novice worshiper, praise dancers without much advance notice or time to prepare for ministry, or larger groups or congregations desiring to worship corporately.

Pros: Along with the “Creative Worship Flow” DVD, Pastor Lynn has put the DVD in book form. This allows the dancer to be able to see the concepts in written form as well as visually. I find that the two go hand in hand, because you can read a book and still may not have the full comprehension as to what the author is saying, especially in dance form, without seeing it executed live.I would recommend this book to anyone who desires to increase their knowledge in choreography. This book would also be very helpful to those who are involved in drama ministry as well.

Pros: Creative Worship Book I don’t know how to express in words what to say as I loved the DVD and as I said before I learned a lot watching the DVD as it is very important and extremely helpful. It solves a lot of the issues we face with the worship team. Also it is very enriching to have all the ideas which was given to us in the DVD on a hard copy along with the creative worship book to have and go through every once in a while to review and keep them by heart. After learning all this I am so enthusiastic to use the ideas I learned in my dance choreographies and insert more creative Movements.

What I love most about the exercises is that it's all a bit spontaneous. This allows me to let the Lord use me while not worrying about what move to do next. In comes the creativity. Pros: This is a wonderful book to have at hand. It goes into more detail than the DVD and will allow you to visualize more ideas for your choreography.

Pros: This book, Creative Worship, is a wealth of exercises designed and clearly described for worship dancers and choreographers for growth and to increase creativity. With Pastor Lynn’s guidance the possibilities are truly endless. As I read each exercise my mind would begin to imagine movement, shapes and the feelings that might result.

Pros: Great Book with lots of ideas for creative spontaneous worship and inspiration for new team choreography.

Pros: This is definitely one for the creative toolkit! The concepts shared and demonstrated in this book are timeless! I’ve had this particular book for many years, and it was refreshing and right on time to read again recently especially for the season the dance ministry I am a part of is in currently. Pros: I think the interesting aspect of Creative Worship Book is Pastor Lynn’s gives purposes behind each Creative Worship exercises, the dancers is not just participating in creative movements the dancer is learning lifelong character building skills on how to work as a team, leadership, unity, getting helping a dancer to overcome their fears and this provides encouragement for the group as well as the individual dancer—The purpose of it all to bring glory to God.

Pros: Very good DVD. Pastor Lynn was really creative with the movement. The one like was called mirror it is to activate the dancer in following another, so that during spontaneous dancing, it appears as though it is choreographed. Must have in your library.

Pros: There are so many opportunities in dance for creative expression, but at times every choreographer needs assistance to pull out creativity, and the dancers themselves may need to be loosened to perform creatively. The Creative Worship Book is a wonderful resource to help dance teams become comfortable with themselves and with other team members. I marked on the front cover of my book, “Desk Reference”. So that in my sea of Dancing for Him Resources I will not forget that this one has some extremely helpful and practical movement ideas to build and expand our team’s repertoire.

Not only does it describe how to expand movement ideas for praise and worship, but it also goes into explaining how we can use scripture and monologues in our worship experiences. Pastor Lynn gives creative movement ideas for when we are running short on time to choreograph either before or even during worship. These exercises can be used during worship practices so they can be applied during a worship service, a conference or a dance ministry piece. It is definitely a book to keep by your side!
