Cons: If you've never done Pilates and you’re looking to start, I recommend getting the Lynn Hayden Preliminary Pilates DVD. This was my first time trying any form of Pilates so I was amazed at what it actually entails. It is designed to condition the body to help build flexibility, strengthen your muscles, and help with endurance in several areas throughout the body as well as a whole list of other things. Lynn takes you through several different exercises, which are very challenging to say the least, but can be done at different levels.

Pros: There are many benefits from doing this Pilates Video – you will see improvements in flexibility, posture and abdominal strength -- and decreases in back, neck, and joint pain. It doesn’t take much room or space to do the Dancing for Him Pilates video. You only need a yoga mat or something like an exercise mat or foam to cushion your spine and grip your feet onto and Lynn gives great instruction you can do along with her as if she is right there with you! Doing this Pilates video is great way to help your body gain a long, lean look without bulky muscles, but with all the strength. I have noticed a change in my body since I started doing it and my lower back is getting much stronger.

The benefit, however, is that I have discovered the imbalances in my body - that my left side is much stronger and I reinforce its strength by relying on it - and am working to increase my strength on the right side as well as practice engaging all postural muscles properly. If you want to improve your posture, symmetrical strength, and flexibility as well, this is just is just the ticket!

Pros: I love that this video is a very simple basic Pilates course with great explanations and examples given by Pastor Lynn for form. I appreciate all the detail in the showing of each exercise as for posture, breathing, movement, etc. then by a student to do a workout. I am excited to feel the strength in my abdomen and low back returning and the pain diminishing.

Pros: This video is a must for the beginner in Pilates! My exact words - simply CHALLENGING - is that an oxy moron? Pastor Lynn knows just when to add extra imagery to bring perfect form! I am looking forward to mastering these exercises and strengthening my core - I believe this will make me a stronger dancer!

Pros: Awesome! is the word for this DVD-I didn't know how weak I was in my core until viewing this DVD-I currently use it at least twice a week for excercise and strength. I found it very easy to follow as well as give you the do's and don'ts to avoid injury. Lynn was very detailed and thorough thru the entire video. Thanks Lynn

Pros: This video teaches the basic pilates and Lynn explains and demonstrates it clearly by breaking down the movements, mentioning do's and not do's, relating the movements with breathing and alignment. It is a good tool to strengthen your core strength and alignment of the whole body without the risk of injuries.

Pros: This video is great at explaining each of the basic pilates movements and how to do them correctly to get the most out of the movement and to prevent injury. Lynn is very thorough and walks you through down to the breathe. Easy for anyone to follow who is interested in pilates and strengthening their core muscles.

Pros: I love this DVD. It has helped me strengthen my core and has also helped my balance. I have had back surgery and none of these exercises caused pain or strain on my back....love it!!!
