Modern Dance II - DVD - New!
Length of ownership: 1 month-1 year
Pros: I really like this DVD. I started sweating after the first 10 minutes into the video. It is a very good Int. Modern class for when you cannot get to class or have been out for awhile. I recommend it to anyone who needs a back-up for an Intermediate Modern Dance Class.

Pros: This DVD is a real compliment to Modern Dance I and is a true step up in challenge and enhanced technique. Pastor Lynn brings defines the exercises in a clear, easy to grasp manner - and the 'class room' setting adds understanding to each execution!

Pros: The Modern Dance II DVD by the author Lynn Hayden is a great DVD and is in fact an intensive professional modern dance class. It is very technical and contains a series of exercises such as arm and lunge exercise, suspension, rond de jambe, side suspend, dynamic reach, etc.
The way the author Lynn Hayden explains and demonstrates the steps is very encouraging and she really is a great mentor.
The DVD is a very useful tool for anyone who is in the dance ministry. It gives a great variety of movement vocabulary which I will definitely use in my personal worship time and also as material for my dance classes.

Pros: 5 Minutes into this DVD I sensed how packed full of ideas, movements and a great learning tool for a Contemporary Library to use as an intermediate or advanced dancer.
Contemporary exercises, techniques and powerful routines have given me a desire to learn more to be better at the craft.

Pros: This is a great intermediate workout video. If you are a beginner, I would definitley do the Modern one first as this one picks up the tempo and the combinations are more advanced. Modern dance is a fun way to get an amazing workout and add lots of ideas for dances to contempory Christian songs!

Pros: I believe this DVD challenges a dancer to grow while maintaining the focus on the Lord! Not only helps with stretching and as a continuation of the Modern Dance 1, giving me a continuous improvement, but it also expands my creativity in putting movements together to worship God in the dance. And, the fact that the tape is done with dancers who possess different skill levels encourages me. I usually identify someone that is at my level, but also follow one who is above my level! They all, even if their skill level is different, when dancing as one, look so powerful, beautiful, and it truly ministers! Love it!

Pros: I love this dvd. It takes me to a more in-depth modern dance moves. I have learnt more movement vocabulary and it definitely takes me to a higher level. The teaching and exercises are very clearly explained and demonstrated.

Pros: "This is a challenging video for those like myself who want to increase in strength and in knowledge of movements. The DVD kept the promise on the fact that it’s for intermediate dancers. I liked the spins, turns, leg and arms combinations during the across the floor techniques. The music used in the DVD was great! Some of my favorite songs playing made it much more enjoyable to attempt the exercises. The leaps, hops, turns and jumps were really a workout and made me realize the importance of balance, strength and focus. it’s great for intermediate to stay challenged and motivated. I’m very pleased with the DVD and I give God the glory for a DVD that can help me achieve my goals for him and through him".
